Anyone who discovers the enchanting world of Maileg will sooner or later come across the different size designations: Baby Mouse, Little Sister, Big Brother, Mum and Dad – and when it comes to furniture, it’s suddenly Mouse, Micro, My, or Miniature.

But which Maileg furniture fits which mice? And what exactly is the difference between Mouse and Miniature? We’ll bring some order to the small Maileg world.

The Maileg Mice and Their Sizes

The beauty of the Maileg mouse family: The mice are of different sizes – just like the members of a real family.

Depending on the model and collection, the measurements may vary slightly.

Which furniture fits the Maileg mice?

If you’re looking for furniture for your mice, you should pay particular attention to the size designation "Maus" or "Mouse".

This furniture was specially developed for the Maileg mouse family – from beds, tables and chairs to kitchens and refrigerators, bathtubs, wardrobes or sofas. They also fit particularly well into Maileg mouse houses like the Moushole Farmhouse or the Maileg Castles.

Our tip: If an item of furniture in our shop has the size "Mouse", it is intended for the Maileg mouse world.

Mouse or Miniature – what's the difference?

This is probably where most of the confusion arises: Maileg "Mouse" and Maileg "Miniature" are not the same size.

Miniature
Miniature furniture is significantly larger. It belongs to the larger Maileg dollhouse world and is intended, among other things, for the House of Miniature as well as Maileg rabbits and bunnies.

A kitchen, a bed or – as can be clearly seen in our picture – an ironing board in Miniature is therefore significantly larger than the same piece of furniture in Mouse size.

Of course, imagination knows no rules: a mouse can also sleep in a gigantic bed. But if you want to create a coherent mouse world, it's best to choose furniture with the designation Mouse.

And what do My and Micro mean?

Besides Mouse and Miniature, you will also come across the designations My and Micro at Maileg. These originate particularly from the world of rabbits and bunnies and refer to smaller figures and matching accessories.

When in doubt, it’s always worth taking a quick look at the size information for the respective item.
