Hrókur and the Skyriders begins a magical journey full of imagination, nature, and freedom. This lovingly illustrated children's book forms the narrative center of the Grapat Hrókur collection and invites children to immerse themselves in a poetic world where adventure and imagination know no bounds.

Written and illustrated by Sophia Drescher, Ralf Wendland, and Sibylle Engstrom, the story of the Icelandic horse Hrókur is told through atmospheric watercolor illustrations. The book combines reading aloud with free play, creating a bridge between the story and the matching Grapat and Ostheimer wooden figures.

This allows children to reenact the narrative, develop it further, or invent their very own stories.
A special picture book for little and big explorers alike – full of inspiration for reading, playing, and dreaming together.
